It’s part two! 🙂 So part two of operation brave turkey is done. I took the turkey out of the fridge and pat it dry with paper towels.
I used a bucket and put a brine bag in the bucket. After that, I got my dad to help me stick the turkey and tidbits into the bag.
Pour in the brine solution alternating with ice cold water. You need 1 1/2 gallons of water (24 cups).
This is what it looks like when all the brine and water is covering the turkey.
After that, zip up the bag and let the turkey brine for 24 hours. You don’t have to put it in the fridge. I guess you could if you could fit it into your fridge. It doesn’t fit into mine.
