These cookies are magical. There’s a hint of orange but not too overpowering. I love the sweetness of the white chocolate and the tart of the cranberries. It’s a great recipe for fall 🙂 I thought it might actually fit into spring but whatever. I’m still enjoying these.

Orange Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies (adapted from Alaska From Scratch)

2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated white sugar
1 egg
2 sticks unsalted butter at room temp
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon grated orange zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup dried cranberries
1 cup ghirardelli white chocolate chips

– preheat oven to 375 degrees
– using a stand mixer, blend sugars and butter together until creamy
– add orange juice, vanilla, and egg than mix
– add salt, baking soda, and orange zest and mix again
– add in dried cranberries and white chocolate chips and mix one last time
– using a ice cream scoop, scoop dough onto silpat lined baking sheet
– bake for 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees
– let cool and enjoy! 🙂

I got 32 cookies out of this recipe. They’re delicious!! 🙂 I can’t wait to bring them in for my coworkers. Try it out. It won’t disappoint..unless you happen to be allergic to anything in it. Yikes!

Fail Sweetly,
Justina
